... Moving back from the falling glass I noticed a guy lying down. He was unable to move because his leg had been wounded. I leaned down, grabbed him under the arms, and tried to drag him away from that massacre. Two men ran up and carried the wounded person down the slope. Between the shooting and the crashing, I heard over the loudspeaker that: „This is the National Salvation Committee speaking", and that we should all disperse and nothing would happen to us. Again there were shots, smoke, and crashing. I was deafened by one shot and an air wave hit me in the face, so I moved away from the tower. I saw one policeman who was injured in the face. I gave him a bandage and cleaned the blood away from his face. He had a cut on his lip, and he said that his tooth had been knocked out...
Below, by the TV buildings, I saw a terrible sight: a young man was lying down with his hips shot through. I gave him my last bandage. They loaded the young man into an ambulance. They brought another person who was completely limp. I leaned over him, and saw that both his feet were hanging, broken off, that the pupils of his eyes didn't react to light, that he had no pulse, and that there was a wound on the top of his head. I realized that he was dead, so we put him on a stretcher and carried him to the side, because we heard voices say that everyth¬ing would be filmed...
