I ran to the television tower on the 13th of January, 1991, after hearing the first shots. I had been a tank commander in the bloody army, so I wasn't scared by the noise of the military vehicles. The first vehicles, while approaching the administrative building of the television tower, were firing, diffusing clouds of white smoke, and signalling with their lights to the main column of tanks. Rushing to the administrative building, I saw a tank approaching. It was carrying three people who were hanging on to the front of it. I realized that the people would be crushed and turned around. Thinking that they could stop the tank, about 15 or 20 people ran into its path. Roaring, the tank drew nearer. It drove through the people as if it was driving through bushes. A few meters away, where the people who had been crushed were, stood a sand truck which had also been smashed.

From there I rushed to the entrance to the tower and the main column of tanks and armored vehicles started to approach. There were about 15 or 20 military vehicles. On each vehicle there were 4 or 5 murderers. The barrels of the tanks were pointed towards the television tower. The bloody generals knew full well that there weren't any anti-tank guns in the tower whatsoever, so what were they aiming at? Do you really think that you can shoot down radio and television waves, or the thoughts of people?
