On January 12th and 13th I was by the TV tower. The attack began at 2 o'clock at night. They shot at unarmed people from tank barrels, tommy-guns, machine-guns, and pistols. Not far from me, a tank ran over a person. In order to turn around, the tank jerked backwards. Other people carried the injured man towards Karoliniškės Park.

An officer's dead body was thrown from a tank. A helmet fell off the corpse. An unknown person picked up the helmet and put it on. I didn't see his face because he was standing with his back to me.
