When they announced that tanks were coming, I got into my car and went to the TV tower. Once I got to Mėnulio bus stop, I saw tanks, BMPs (armored personnel carriers), and other military vehicles going towards the TV tower. A lot of cars were coming, so the tanks started blocking the way. I parked my car on the side of the road and rushed towards the tower. I saw two sand trucks blocking the tanks' way. A tank tried to push them out of the way, but to no avail. Then it hit them from the side and was able to move them. I stood in the middle of the street and began to call for the people at the door to join hands and block the way for the tanks. In two rows, we stood holding hands in front of the tanks. The tanks were driving straight at us, so we began to back away. Three men jumped onto the first tank and went together with it, towards the tower. There was one more sand truck parked near the tower. Seeing it, the tank sped up. With a man still holding on to it, the tank rolled over the truck, crushing the man as well. The other two men had managed to jump off. I was standing on a hill and could see the crushed person. Somebody dragged him to the side of the road. Other military vehicles went up the hill and began to surround the TV tower. The tank, crushing some more cars and aiming its searchlights and its gun at the people, stopped. After waiting for a few minutes, I went down the hill to take the person away, but he was gone.
