My neighbor and I ran to the tower from the direction of Lazdynai. We paused by the net fence. A policeman was standing there, and he asked us to go closer to the tower. Everyone was crawling through the hole in the fence. Tanks had already surrounded the tower. I watched as they forced people towards the tower; the tank barrels were pointed at the windows, and the windows were breaking. A tank suddenly moved in reverse and ran over two young men. They were carried to an ambulance. When they shot at the windows again, the impact blew the people a few meters to the side. 1 or 1.5 meters away from me, a tank ran over two more people - a man and a girl. I motioned with my hand to the driver to move away from them. I have heart disease and I've had two heart attacks. I asked the soldiers to shoot me if they needed sacrifices so badly, and not those young people. Then they shot at the ground near me.
