... An explosive that was thrown into the crowd not only made a noise, but it also lit up the maybe 4 rows of people that were standing with their hands joined around the tower. Then a tank fired into the air. After the shots, I saw a person lying on the ground between the tank and the people. People carried him away. However, the people weren't scared by the shooting. They stood there just as they had been standing by the wall. Then the tank raised its barrel over the heads of the people and fired several times at the frames of the windows. Paratroopers, firing automatic-guns, forced their way to the windows and broke them with their guns.
More and more wounded were being carried and led away from the territory. On the territory we could see people running from tanks that were chasing them. They would stumble, get up, and run again. From all directions we could hear one thing: “Ambulance!"
