... The people were standing calmly, without any kind of panic. A personnel carrier drove over to us, and then a tank crawled over and stopped by us. Suddenly, two windows behind us shattered and two guys from the National Defense Department jumped out from inside. One was holding a gas-mask and putting it on. He rushed in, but a hose appeared from inside and they began to shoot water. The people only moved apart a little bit and continued to stand there. The guy from the Defense Department said that they were using gas there. Before the tanks appeared, I looked inside. There weren't 2, but 6 or 7 guys, so that meant that there were still some people left inside. They shot water for maybe 30 seconds, and you could hear something breaking inside. Then a tank turned its barrel and fired a blank. One man next to me fell down. You could hear shots and the jingle of shattering glass. I managed to turn around and take a look through the broken window: there were two men with tommy guns in paratrooper uniforms inside.
