We were running along the street when a column of tanks overtook us. People were chanting: “Fascists!" I watched as the first tanks crushed sand trucks and cars. We were running at the same speed as the tanks. They turned to the left towards the forest, knocked down the fences and surrounded the tower.
A crowd was standing by the tower, holding hands. Light tanks closed in on the tower from all sides, and stopped only 2 or 3 meters from the people. An officer gave a command and the soldiers jumped from the tanks and rushed forwards. Packets began to explode. Soldiers hit people in the head with their guns, completely indifferent to whether they were young or old, men or women...
