There were a lot of people around the tower, and bonfires were built in the square. People were warming themselves up and singing, and the folk group „Armonika" came. It was calm until 1 a.m. Later, we heard an announcement and soon saw tanks coming towards the tower with huge clouds of smoke… You could hear moaning, and people were already carrying away the wounded. Paratroopers shot at people's legs. The paratroopers behaved like savages - we had never seen anything like it in our lives.
