When I arrived at the Press House, some of the paratroopers were already in the lobby. Crowds of people were blocking the door and trying to get the paratroopers out of the corridor. But they /the soldiers/ were pushing the people back in a number of ways. Water was turned on from above, but the spurts were weak so it was more like a shower. Some water hit one officer in the head. He immediately aimed his tommy-gun at the place that the water was coming from and fired two short series. The cartridges fell right on me. I was standing by the officer. The water stopped pouring.
After that, the officer quickly turned around, and as if he was scared by the people, ran to a tank which was standing in front of the Press House, pushed a soldier aside, and climbed in. Later, automatic gun fire was heard several times. There was one tank shot.
