At around 3 a.m. on January 13 we went into the yard and met an elderly man and woman by the door. We took them home. The woman complained of having been beaten in the back with a gun by a paratrooper. The man (his last name was Pimpė) began to have a heart attack. We called a doctor from an ambulance that was parked below. The doctor came and helped both people. Those peaceful citizens were from Subačius, in Kupiškis district. During the paratroopers' attack they were on the stairs of radio building.
